Learning Plan 2
Replacement Girlfriend Wanted!!!
A girlfriend by definition is a frequent or regular female companion in a romantic or sexual relationship. To be my replacement you must be a fighter, a lover, a caring person, and a best friend. It is not as simple as it sounds, you be willing to work hard and love unconditionally. You must be able to accept him along with all of his flaws, and some flaws may drive you insane. You must find a way to get past those and realize you also have flaws that may drive him insane. It must be a mutual acceptance. To be able to accept his flaws, you must first accept yourself. If you have a good self-concept, then it will become a self-fufilling prophecy, which could be the Pygmalion effect. You should want to be a better person because of him, he should also make you feel good about yourself causing your self-esteem to increase. The media may tell you what a good girlfriend should be, but don't be fooled. Actors on television are with eachother for moments, not for a long term relationship. You must keep in mind the Johari Window when being a girlfriend. Most people know that you have to fight for eachother in a relationship, otherwise it has the chance of not working. Some of the flaws you have, you are blind to. Although in a good relationship you will find ways to tell eachother the things that you are not aware of. A requirment to replace me is that you must be honest and tell the truth, no matter how bad your past and secrets are. If you can't trust eachother then you have nothing. Be aware though, self-disclosure will kill your relationship. If he trusts you enough to tell you his deepest secrets then do not tell others. The last part of the Johari Window is the unknown. There is not much to tell about this box, except that you must be willing to leave that window open. You have secrets that you don't even know you have. When it comes to the time when more and more things are revealed from this box, you jmust be willing to share with your loved one. The keys to a good relationship are trust, honesty, integrity, and most of all love. Love yourself as well as your boyfriend.
